These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Manowai Rituals ("we", "us", "our"), located in Palm Beach, Queensland, Australia. By booking an appointment or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms in full.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
1. Bookings and Deposits
All appointments require a deposit at the time of booking. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking and applied to your total treatment cost.
Deposits may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment at our discretion, subject to the cancellation terms below.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Notice must be provided by phone or email during business hours.
- 48+ hours notice: Your deposit may be transferred to a future appointment, at our discretion.
- Less than 48 hours notice: Your deposit is forfeited. No transfer will be offered.
- No-show / failure to attend: Your deposit is forfeited in full. A new deposit will be required to rebook.
We reserve the right to decline future bookings from clients who repeatedly cancel or fail to attend.
3. Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your treatment. Your appointment may be treated as a no-show at our discretion, and your deposit forfeited.
4. Suitability and Contraindications
Some treatments are not suitable for all clients. Before your appointment, you will be asked to complete a health and medical history intake form. You must disclose all relevant health information honestly and completely.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a known skin condition, or are taking medications that may affect treatment outcomes, please inform us prior to booking. We reserve the right to refuse or modify a treatment where we believe it may not be safe or appropriate for you.
5. Informed Consent
Prior to certain treatments, including fibroblast plasma lift and skin needling, you will be required to sign a consent form. The consent form outlines the procedure, expected results, risks, side effects, and aftercare requirements.
By signing the consent form, you confirm that you have read and understood all information provided, that your questions have been answered, and that you consent to proceed with the treatment.
6. Results and Outcomes
Treatment outcomes vary between individuals and are not guaranteed. We provide professional advice and use our experience to optimise results, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Results may depend on factors including skin type, health, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare instructions.
Refunds will not be provided on the basis of dissatisfaction with results where the treatment has been performed correctly and in accordance with the agreed consent.
7. Aftercare Compliance
Aftercare instructions will be provided following your treatment. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions carefully. We accept no liability for adverse outcomes arising from failure to comply with aftercare guidelines.
8. Pricing
Prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking applies to that appointment. All prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST where applicable.
9. Payments
Full payment is due at the time of your appointment. We accept the payment methods listed on our booking platform. Deposits paid at the time of booking will be deducted from the total.
10. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase in accordance with Queensland law. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.
11. Photography and Social Media
We may photograph your treatment results for our records. Use of any images in marketing or social media requires your separate written consent. You may request that no photographs be taken at any time.
You are welcome to share your own experience on social media. We ask that you do not photograph or film other clients or our treatment areas without permission.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Manowai Rituals limits its liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of our services. We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify consumer guarantees, rights, or remedies to which you may be entitled under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the services re-supplied if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on our website. Booking an appointment after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
