  • Plasma Lift technology works by inducing skin contraction whilst shortening and tightening the skin fibres, resulting in the reduction of the skin surface.

    It is a minimally invasive treatment that utilises an electrical spark to heat microscopic columns of the skin initiating skin fibres to shrink whilst boosting collagen production and ultimately achieving the removal of excess skin and an overall tightening.

  • Your appointment begins with a topical numbing cream applied for 30 to 45 minutes. Once you are comfortable, Fae maps the treatment area with precision before beginning. Most sessions take between 60 and 90 minutes depending on the area.

    Small carbon dots will form on the skin post-treatment. These are part of the healing process and typically shed within 5 to 10 days. Swelling is normal in the first 48 hours, particularly around the eye area.

    You will see an initial improvement immediately. Full results reveal themselves at the three-month mark, and with proper care, last for years.

  • Fibroblast is not suitable for all skin types. Fae assesses every client individually before proceeding. A consultation ensures the treatment is the right choice for your skin, your goals, and your timeline.

    Fibroblast is not recommended during pregnancy, for those on blood thinners, or for Fitzpatrick skin types 5 and 6.

  • Typically 3-4 years, depending on the area treated, individual lifestyle and external factors. The improving effects of the treatment will be noticeable immediately after the first session, but the best results will be seen after 4-12 weeks.

  • You may experience redness 2-4 days after the treatment and swelling may occur depending on the area treated.

    After 5-10 days, the small carbon scabs will have fallen off.

  • After your treatment, expect warmth, tenderness and some swelling for the first 48 hours. Small carbon dots will form on the skin and must be left to shed on their own, typically within five to ten days. Keep the skin clean and dry, avoid makeup, heat and sun exposure during healing, and wear SPF daily.
